Derby has proven to be a great stallion in every aspect! He produces foals that have intelligence, correct conformation and size. He is an easy breeder with great ground manners. He has been primarily hand bred, but has had some pasture breeding as well. He clips, ties, trailers, stands for farrier, and is up to date on all vaccines and wormings. He has BLACK TYPE on both sides of his pedigree. He was never raced, but has plenty of speed. He is a very elegant mover and although we use him as a pleasure horse, he has the potential to be a great Barrel/Performance Prospect. He is listed as a breeding stallion with the APHA, so breed to Paint mares with confidence! The only reason we are selling Derby is because we are getting out of the breeding business. All serious inquiries considered.
